Every morning I check out some websites to see if there is anything interesting to post in the dog world. And every morning I find some incredibly disturbing story about some guy who has killed his dog. This morning it was about a guy who tried to strangle his brother's basset hound and was unsuccessful so he used an ax instead. (The dog's owner is in jail currently and the brother was watching the dog.) Sadly, the details are even more disturbing than what I shared here. And that's not all I found, MSNBC had a couple of stories about animal hoarding. And in the last couple of weeks there have been stories about puppy mills and pet stores. All this madness leaves me speechless.
