It's too bad this blogger doesn't have any recent blogs. My animals are a constant source of happiness in my life and I would do anything for them. I know it's expensive to have animals but that's the choice I made. And that means for their entire life (btw - a chihuahuas life span is 17-20 years). Reading some of these stories made my blood boil and some were absolutely heartbreaking. Owning a pet is not a right - it's a privilege and with that you take on the expense. Yes, I gasped a little when I paid Arlo's bill the other day and I'll probably do it again when Minnie gets spayed and updated on shots. But knowing they are healthy is much more important to me and knowing my vet strives for the absolute best care for my animals is a bonus.
