I watched the most anticipated Grey Gardens this weekend and I was totally mesmerized by the film. The clothes...oh the beautiful clothes and the hair and make-up. And the house itself was a dream...it was easy to see how the downfall began.There is something about this particular house that is so compelling. The New York Times did an article on the actual garden of Grey Gardens after Ben Bradlee and Sally Quinn bought the house from Little Edie. Sally Quinn also took photos of the house before the renovation began.
Such a fascinating story...

I was wondering if Grey Gardens was worth watching...I'll be sure to catch it when it replays (or shows up in On-Demand). The costumes are absolutely gorgeous. Drew looks great all decked out in '30s garb (and hair/makeup).
