I just finished reading Eyewitness Auschwitz last night. Very powerful read. Filip Muller was survived the Holocaust and later testified at the trials in Frankfurt in 1964. He was a witness to the actual gassing of the Jews at Auschwitz. This book is his account of surviving Auschwitz and of his work in the gas chambers and crematorium.

I also read #$@%ing Read Me by Peter De Wolf who happens to be a blog buddy. Peter self-published his book - "A romantic comedy... about cancer. It's that old 'Boy meets girl. Boy gets girl. Girl gets life-threatening disease. Boy tries to make it better. Boy screws up A LOT' story." I loved it. I'm looking forward to his next book.
