The Good and the Bad

So it's been an interesting vacation to say the least. So I thought I would do a little list of the good, the bad, and the ugly of my last week.

Bad: Sliding off the highway coming home from a birthday celebration and getting stuck in a small creek in a field probably 5 miles from my house. (So close yet so far.)

Good: The police officer who saw me and took me to McDonald's while I waited for my sister to drive me home. (That's really two goods since it was late and my sister was probably enjoying a nice cozy night at home until I called.

Good: My car looks to be OK after sliding after sliding off the highway. Thank you to Custom Towing and the wonderful man who helped me get my car out of the ditch.

Good: Nothing is wrong with my car after the big slide.
Bad: I have a bunch of dumb little things wrong like a broken clock and it will take a bunch of $$$ to fix.


Good: Getting a phone call on my birthday from Air Force.

Bad: Talked so long to Air Force that I was late for my birthday dinner and movie night with Con.

Good: Christmas was so laid back there was absolutely no drama.

Bad: Received a water globe as a present. I don't have any plants in my house. And what a weird present.

Good: And to end on a good note. I bought the new Blackberry Storm for myself and I love it.
