Did anyone else catch HBO on Sunday? I was pleasantly surprised with the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. I read the book a few years ago and it was good but I gotta say I think the movie is better. The music, the actors, the people...they really bring the book to life. 
I'm also excited to watch Grey Gardens. It stars Drew Barrymore as "Little Edie" and Jessica Lange as "Big Edie", this eccentric mother and daughter pair who were featured in a documentary in 1973. They are known for being socialites who ended up becoming recluses living in squalor in their East Hampton mansion. They are also related to Jackie O, "Big Edie" being Jackie's aunt. The casting for this movie is incredible. I can't wait for this one.

I saw the the debut on Sunday as well and really enjoyed it!
I thought it captured the books very well and, quite frankly, maybe even surpassed them.
